| Job Description: |
Responsibilities
- Prepare Journal Entries
- Reconcile and manage balance sheet accounts
- Assist with monthly and year end closing
- Assist with external and internal audits
- Verify suppliers invoices before payment processing
- Preparation of customer invoices and circulation of customer ledger and aging reports for follow up.
- Reconciling the AR/AP sub-ledger to General Ledger.
- Petty cash management and review of expense reports
- Bank Account reconciliations
- Prepare tax computations and returns
- Withholding of applicable taxes on payments
- Charging and reconciling input/output taxes on Sales
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years work experience as an Accountant
- Qualification: B.com /M.com/MBA
- Must be fluent in English Language
- Solid knowledge of accounting regulations
- Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills
- Additional certification (e.g. ACCA or CPA) is preferred
- Working on accounting ERP system is a plus
