Key Responsibilities
- Ensure accuracy of tax related transactions in books of accounts and coordination with other stake holders for the compliance of federal and provincial tax law/regulations.
- Monthly/ periodically reconciliation of vendor/customer tax deduction against federal and provincial laws
- Prepare, finalize and e-filing of monthly/ periodically federal and provincial tax returns of goods/services
- Monitoring of withholding tax transactions across network.
- Advice on valuation, the applicability of taxes on transactions and admissibility to tax benefits/exemptions.
- Assist in tax audit and assessments conducted by various tax authorities.
- Any other task assigned by the line manager
