Job Description:

Responsible for designing, implementing and enforcing policies and procedures, as well as streamlining effective billing processes. This position is highly visible and requires a strong leader with the ability to prioritize, plan, and direct the department.

Other Responsibilities Include:

  •   Oversee and streamline billing and collections processes.
  •  Month-end closing of the billing group information.
  •  Plan and implement quality assurance for all processes.
  •  New client on boarding and implementation.
  •  Personnel development; staff meetings, staff discussions and planning/interviews;
  •  Team building. 
  •  Coordinating billing operations & problem escalation with the team in the USA office.
  •  Oversees all aspects of day-to-day revenue cycle operations for personnel responsible for.
  •  Establishes and maintains controls and procedures for all payments collected and posted in the practice management system for the clients.
  •  Maintain effective communication with the USA office and with third party insurance carriers to resolve issues that impede cash flow and detract from patient/member satisfaction.
  •  Select and monitors outside collection vendors engaged in the collection of receivables.
  •  Reviews all statistical reports to monitor trends and determine operational deficiencies and implements corrective action plans as necessary.
  •  Leads and provides operational directives for all activities related to claims management and collections of the company’s receivables and ensures timely, efficient cash collections to support the overall financial goals of the facility.
  •  Collaborates with other departments to build a team approach to day-to-day problem solving.
  •  Manages staffing, including recruitment, supervision, scheduling, and development.
  •  Assist with the implementation of a new billing system & software.
  •  Implement strategic planning and priority setting for a billing department.
  •  Improve process efficiencies and solving problems.
  •  Show strong leadership skills with an ability to motivate direct reports.
  •  Show excellence in communication skills both written and verbal, and internal personal skills.
  •  Show excellence in analytical and problem solving skills.
  •  Be able to successfully manage multiple projects concurrently.
