Job Description:

Position Purpose:

Responsible for the operations of Loan Facilitation Office including internal and external communication, networking, loan recovery efforts and arrangement of workshops for students

 

Main Responsibilities:

  • Plan, manage and organize Loan Facilitation Office activities;
  • Plan and execute Strategic Loan Recovery Plan;
  • Establishes & achieve collection goals monthly, quarterly and annually in conjunction with supervisor/management;
  • Arrange Seminars, Workshops and Courses for students and ensure their participation;
  • Develop a structured networking environment for the students and stay in close interaction with students;
  • Carry out research and develop business plans/SOPs to make sure maximum level of loan recovery;
  • Outline procedures for timely issuance of clearance letters;
  • Have regular follow up with students to ensure timely payments of loan amounts;
  • Work closely with various offices and maintain complete data record of students;
  • Send monthly reminder letters and loan status statements to parents & students;
  • Develop and implement SOPs for all loan recovery activities;
  • Carry out research plans to determine the effectiveness of loan recovery efforts;
  • Plan schedule of different activities according to the availability of students and instructors;
  • Monitor key performance drivers of individual & team and take corrective action when required;
  • Ensure loan recovery work plan’s firm implementation;
  • Participate as a representative of the organization in networking and linkages-meetings with stakeholders on behalf of LUMS;
  • Ensures compliance with LUMS Policies;
  • Responsible for university’s internal and external communications;
  • Develop strong relationships with faculty and staff colleagues.
