Page Maker job is available in Karachi for a leading Media Group. An ideal candidate must have Diploma in Graphic Design along with 1 to 2 years of relevant experience in newspaper or magazine layout design using tools such as InPage, InDesign, or QuarkXPress.
Page Maker job role is to design and structure visually appealing page layouts by placing text, headlines, images, captions, and advertisements according to editorial standards, ensuring accuracy, alignment, and timely delivery for print or digital publication.
Job Responsibilities:
- Design and assemble newspaper/magazine pages with proper formatting and alignment.
- Insert headlines, body text, images, captions, and advertisements according to the defined layout and editorial guidelines.
- Ensure consistency, accuracy, and visual appeal across all pages.
- Coordinate closely with editorial teams to incorporate last-minute changes or content adjustments.
- Meet strict deadlines and manage time effectively under pressure.
- Compose text or create headlines when necessary.
- Comfortable with rotational shifts.
Skills:
- Proficiency in InPage, InDesign, or QuarkXPress.
- Strong attention to detail in layout formatting, spacing, and alignment.
- Ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills for coordination with editors and content creators.
